An Ice Cream Week

I’ve been in a bit of a slump.  It’s a never ending cycle for me, and I don’t reach a new high until I hit the lowest low.  Whenever I’m stressed, I either fast or binge.  I skipped eating earlier this week, and I didn’t even realize it until a few days with an empty belly passed.  When it finally hit me I was starving, I wanted to consume everything around me.  I’m on a big ice cream kick again.  I crave it like I’m pregnant, (don’t worry, I’m not).  I’ve been eating a lot of flurries, which is usually vanilla ice cream with some sort of candy blended in.  I’m explaining in case you’re reading from some part of the world where flurries don’t exist.  Although I’m sure they’re almost everywhere by whatever name.

Anyway, the flurries are always good yet always a bit disappointing.  So I started making my own. I have a major sweet tooth, and I love rich desserts.  When I say rich, I mean to the point of making your stomach turn.  Creamy cheesecake, toffee, banana’s foster, butter scotch, caramel kind of rich.  I like chocolate too, but I’d much rather have something creamy.  Especially creamy, sweet, and salty.  Mmmmmm.  Ok, do I sound like I’m talking about semen now?  Get your mind out of the gutter.

So yeah, I just wrote two paragraphs about dessert.  I just may have been impregnated by sugar loving extraterrestrials in Las Vegas.  I’m off to concoct a delicious Heath bar flurry now.  Boy am I lucky I was blessed with a decent metabolism.
