It’s ok boys, we knew you were lovers long ago.
Today I’m doing a big thorough house cleaning. I’m desperate to move out of here soon, but not having much luck. Apartments really suck, and any nice affordable house for rent has a NO PETS policy. Some of them allow section 8, but no pets. I don’t want to be an asshole, because I definitely feel for poverty stricken people. I’ve been there. Wouldn’t they rather have a girl with a couple of cats, then someone who can’t pay their rent though? Another place I was looking at allows cats, but only if they’re declawed. That doesn’t seem legal, especially from an apartment complex. A big fuck you to that place. My cats don’t scratch anything but their cat tree, cardboard, and my box spring. >_<
Last night I saw Despicable Me with my Sister and our friend. We got a ton of candy from the drug store before hand, because who wants to pay $5 for a box of Sour Patch Kids? I had the bar make me a Barcardi & diet, and it was like 3/4 rum. Needless to say, I enjoyed the movie. I love most movies when I have a drink in me at the theater. It was pretty cute though. 3D hurts my eyes, so I kind of hope the trend slows down. There’s usually only a few scenes during a movie where it’s like WOWWWWEEEEEeee 3D! Then the rest is kind of blurry and difficult to watch.
I stopped eating meat. It wasn’t hard, because I’ve been a vegetarian on and off most of my life. I went six years straight until I stopped caring about everything. Honestly I don’t believe humans are meant to be vegetarian. I do believe we’re meant to hunt our meat, rather than sit on our lazy asses while someone else farms and slaughters it. I don’t like the idea of eating animals, I never have. It’s a personal choice.
I don’t care for the mentality of most vegans and vegetarians. They scare people away from the idea by being psychotic, and not sticking to the facts. Veganism is unfortunately a trend more than anything these days, and many vegans I’ve known lie about their lifestyle and eating habits. I think vegans who call vegetarianism a cop out are assholes, and I argue with them often. Becoming vegetarian is a huge step for a lot of people. Criticizing someone for trying is just plain ignorant. Anyway, I know not every vegan or vegetarian has this attitude. I don’t mean to offend. I guess I tend to dislike mouthy extremists of any kind. That’s what turns people off from the whole thing. Sometimes it’s better to quietly do what you think is best, and educate people when they seem interested.
The thing about being vegetarian, I find it almost impossible to eat healthy. I end up eating a lot more bread and pasta. o( _ _ )o I like veggies, but they’re much more enjoyable when paired with either pasta, cheese, or a big fat steak. My body doesn’t like starches and food with high amounts of carbohydrates. I’m going to have to work out a lot more, which I guess is a good thing. Last night I made ravioli with lots of veggies, and garlic bread. It looks much less appetizing in this picture, and I almost burnt the garlic bread. It was yummy though.
