I’m assuming all of you have been following the super awesome web comic ULTRAVIOLE(n)T.  If not, get your butt over to Art Over Life Studios and catch up on the latest panels!   If you’re an art appreciator like myself, you might be interested in backing the transition from web comic to print through KICKSTARTER.  You can pledge anywhere from $1 on up.  Each backer is given a reward option, the minimum being a credit in the publication and online series.   The more you donate, the more reward options you’re given.  And wow!  Some of the rewards include signed posters, special edition issues with NSFW covers, original art work, and more!

I’m proud to announce the launch of ” UltraViolet(n)t“, the brand new web comic created by Art Over Life Studios and featuring yours truly.  ^_^  I get really excited whenever someone creates art using the likes of my image, but words cannot express how thrilled I am over this project.

I became a fan of traditional comics, graphic novels, & manga in junior high, when I was first introduced to my best friend’s brother’s comic book store.  My friend would often give me comics and trading cards for my Birthday and Holidays.  I remember being in awe of the female characters and their perfectly drawn curves.  I loved using them as reference for my own art.  Never thought I’d become one of those dangerously sexy cartoon heroines.

Last night I had my first appointment to start my sleeve.  3.5 hours in, and we got a big chunk of line work done.  I’m still not sure if I want to do a full sleeve, or half sleeve.  I’m so in love with this guys work, that I might just do my full arm.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to post pictures before it was finished, because people seem to take any opportunity to shit on me.  It gets old, but I can’t hide myself throughout the entire process.  I know some of you are going to have your asshole opinions.  I’m ruining my body, I’ll regret it later, some of you who know NOTHING about tattoos will chime in and critique.  I’m totally prepared for the shit that will be slung at me for this, but honestly I wish you’d just keep your fucking mouth shut if you don’t have anything positive to say.  *^_^*  I’m doing this for me, not you.

I have 100% faith that it’s going to turn out exactly how I envisioned or better.  His work is so good that I waited several months to get a few hours of his time.  I’d really like to post his name and link his site, but I’ll have to ask him for permission.  I spoke to him a bit about my career, but didn’t exactly reveal every detail.  Sometimes my job makes social situations a bit awkward.  I don’t want to put his name on an adult site and have him mad at me.

When looking at these photos, please consider a few things before opening your mouth.

1. It’s a very faint grey outline.  It has little to do with the finished piece.  He’ll be going over the entire thing in color.  That’s when a lot of the detail will come through.

2.  These pics are from last night, and there’s still stenciling/mark ups smeared all over.

3.  I don’t give a fuck if you don’t like it.

Eventually that piece will evolve into this painting by Junko Mizuno.  Altered a bit to suit the shape of my arm.

The painting is based off of a character named Akko,  from Junko Mizuno’s manga “Cinderalla”.  Which is kind of a zombie take on Cinderella.  Akko is a zombie step sister, with giant boobies.  Once this piece is finished, I’ll be adding something else inside of my upper arm.  Then I’ll decide whether or not I want to do the forearm.
